Vigilance Week Observance

A one day webinar was conducted in Holy Cross College, Dept. Of Teacher Education Agartala,Tripura, on Vigilance Week Observance on 5 th November 2020. Principal Fr.Dr.Benny K John CSC welcomed the august gathering and enlightened us with his thoughts on the need of how to be vigilant and fight against corruption. Three faculty members Dr.Tomina NS, spoke on corruption and the kinds of corruption that we are facing today in the society and the country as a whole as well as what are the acts that are already existing in our country which help us to fight against corruption. Where as Dr.Sukanya Bhattacharjee threw light on ethics and values, how personal ethics play an important role to remove corruption and improve accountability, maintain good governance, improve productive efficiency of an organization, and enhance Integrity. Ast.Prof.Sarajit Biswas spoke on ‘‘Satark Bharat, Samridh Bharat (vigilance India, Prosperous India)’’and he enlightened us with the thought of how ordinary people are fighting against corruption in their day today life, he also suggested what are the means and ways to fight against illogical corruption that is destroying the integrity of the country.

Pratima Jojo a student representative of Sem-III presented their ideas on corruption and put up some suggestions on how to prevent the increase of corruption and malpractice in the society and in the country. Sem-1 students prepared a short video on various activities on how to work towards a free nation where justice is provided for all.The webinar was worth listening and attending, number of students put up their concerns and worries on the current situation.
